habitat for humanity
Since 1997, Habitat For Humanity Huronia has provided permanent home ownership solutions to hardworking, deserving families in Simcoe County. The families who benefit from Habitat Homes have experienced better health and financial security, and their children receive better grades in school. Our local economy also benefits from tax dollars and local spending.
youth haven
Youth Haven, Simcoe County’s only emergency shelter for homeless youth, supports the Barrie, Orillia, Midland, southern Georgian Bay, and south Simcoe areas. Its mission is to inspire and empower vulnerable youth to reach their potential, offering non-judgmental, confidential support regardless of beliefs, background, ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

pixel foundation
The Pixel Foundation (formerly Henry’s Foundation) envisions a Canada where no one has to suffer alone through mental illness and where creative expression, in all forms, is recognized as an effective way to promote, support and improve mental health. We partner with leaders in mental health and the arts to develop evidence-based programs that use creative expression as a therapeutic tool for people living with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder. The Foundation also gives a voice to people with lived experience of mental illness to eliminate stigma.
